The "Clean" vs. "Transferred" Market

The PSX economy is split in two. Clean Pets (never transferred to PS99) are rare collectibles. Transferred Pets are essentially "dead" assets that can only be used in PSX. If you are still playing PSX for fun, buy Transferred pets—they are 90% cheaper. If you are a collector, hunt for Clean pets, but be prepared to pay a massive premium.

Bank Interest Strategy

If you have gems, put them in the Bank. The interest rate allows your wealth to grow passively. In a hyper-inflated economy like PSX, every gem counts. Upgrading your bank tier to maximize interest and storage space is the best use of your initial capital.

Index Completing

Many players now focus solely on completing the Pet Index. This has created a niche market for "trash" pets—common or rare pets from old eggs that nobody bothered to keep. If you have an inventory full of 2021 pets, don't delete them! Check if they are needed for Index completion; you might be sitting on a goldmine for collectors.

Hardcore Mode Value

Hardcore Pets have significantly higher stats than normal pets. For players actually playing the game (grinding chests), a team of Dark Matter Hardcore pets is essential. Trading these functional pets is a steady income stream, separate from the high-stakes Huge pet market.

Titanic Pet Stability

Titanic Pets in PSX are the ultimate store of value. Even with the game's population decline, Titanics hold value because they are finite. If you own a Titanic, you hold a piece of Roblox history. Trading one requires extreme caution—use the official trading booth to avoid "switch" scams.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Pet Simulator X trading, values, and market behavior.

No. The transfer window for Pet Simulator 99 has closed for most items. Pets remaining in Pet Simulator X are now "Legacy" items. They hold value only for collectors who still play PSX or want to complete their index in the older game.

Pets that have been transferred to PS99 will have a visible "Transferred" tag. These pets are significantly less valuable in PSX because they can no longer be moved to the new game. Untransferred (clean) Huge pets command a massive premium.

The Huge Pegasus (from the NFT project) or the Huge Cat (OG developer pet) are among the rarest. Their supply is extremely limited and fixed. Unlike newer Huges, they cannot be hatched anymore, making them priceless collector's items.

Yes. Since PSX is no longer the main game, the economy has stagnated with trillions of gems in circulation. Prices for rare items are astronomical (often exceeding the gem cap), forcing players to use "Huge Pets" as a currency instead of gems.

Yes. Dark Matter pets are the strongest stat pets. While stat pets have lost value compared to Huges/Titanics, Dark Matter Mythicals are still useful for helping new players clear the story mode quickly.
