Skin Rarity System
MVSD uses a standard color-coded rarity system: Common (Grey), Uncommon (Green), Rare (Blue), Epic (Purple), Legendary (Gold), and Godly (Pink/Red). Godly skins drop with less than 1% probability. Always protect your Godlies; they are the gold standard of trading. A single Godly can buy entire inventories of lower-tier skins.
Ability Meta
While skins are cosmetic, Abilities win games. The current meta favors abilities with high mobility (like Dash) or defensive utility (like Shield). Investing your Credits into upgrading the right ability will help you win more duels, which in turn earns you more Credits to buy skin crates. It's a positive feedback loop.
Credit Farming Efficiency
The fastest way to farm Credits is 1v1 Duels. They are quick and give consistent rewards for winning. Avoid large team modes if you are strictly grinding for currency, as matches take longer. Completing daily quests is also mandatory for maximizing income.
Limited Event Investment
When an event drops, play as much as possible to unlock the Event Crates. The skins inside are exclusive. Hoarding unopened Event Crates (if tradable) or the skins from them is a smart long-term play. New players joining months later will pay a premium for "OG" skins they missed.
Knife vs. Gun Value
Generally, Knife Skins are valued slightly higher than Gun Skins because you see your knife more often (movement, melee kills) and the models are often more detailed. If you have to choose between a Legendary Knife or a Legendary Gun in a trade, the Knife is usually the better hold for future value.
