The Mythical Fish Economy

Mythical Fish are the high-value currency of Fisch. Species like the Colossal Squid or Megalodon sell for huge amounts of coins to the Merchant. To maximize profit, don't just sell instantly. Wait for the Merchant to offer a Bonus Multiplier (e.g., 1.5x for Mythicals) or find the Traveling Merchant who pays a premium. Hoarding rare fish until the right moment is key.

Rod Enchanting Strategy

Enchants can turn a mediocre rod into a legendary tool. The Sea King enchant is essential for catching the heaviest fish, while Lucky is best for finding rare species. Don't waste Enchant Relics on starter rods. Save them for the King's Rod or Trident Rod to create a best-in-slot tool that will pay for itself in one fishing trip.

Using Totems

Totems allow you to change the weather or time of day instantly. This is crucial because certain Mythicals only spawn during Rain or Night. A smart investment is to buy a Rain Totem, find a full server, and activate it. The entire server benefits, and you get access to the rare storm fish pool.

Bait Efficiency

Not all bait is equal. Truffle Worms and Shark Heads are expensive but necessary for attracting Mythicals. Using basic worms in deep waters is a waste of time. Always match your bait to your target fish tier. If you are farming for coins, use high-speed bait to catch volume; if farming for rarity, use high-luck bait.

Mutation Hunting

A Shiny or Albino mutation multiplies a fish's value. These are pure RNG, but you can boost your odds with the Shiny Rod or by fishing during the "Aurora Borealis" event. A Shiny Mythical is a trophy catch that can be sold for millions, instantly funding your next rod upgrade.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about Fisch trading, values, and market behavior.

Yes! Trading fish is a core mechanic. You can trade rare or Mythical Fish to other players or the Merchant. High-weight fish (e.g., 500kg+) or fish with the Shiny mutation are worth significantly more. Collectors often buy specific species to complete their bestiary.

Most standard rods bought from the shop are account-bound. However, Event Rods or rods obtained from specific quests/codes may be tradable. The value of a rod is determined by its Lure Speed, Luck stat, and Resilience.

Sea King and Lucky are top-tier enchants. Sea King increases the chance of catching massive fish, while Lucky increases the rarity tier of your catch. Enchants are applied to rods and can make a basic rod viable in end-game zones.

Mythical Fish (like the Kraken or Megalodon) spawn in specific deep-sea zones or during events like "Stormy Weather." You need a rod with high Resilience to reel them in without the line snapping. Using specific Bait (like Truffle Worms) drastically increases your chances.

Fish can spawn with mutations like Shiny, Albino, or Giant. These multipliers increase the sell value of the fish by up to 5x. A "Shiny Mythical" is the holy grail of fishing and can be sold for millions of coins.
