The Divine Knife Economy
In Breaking Point, Divine knives are the apex assets. They feature unique glows, particle trails, and intricate designs. Because Divines are exceptionally rare drops from high-tier cases, their value is incredibly stable. Investing in a Divine knife is safer than holding millions of Credits, as Credits inflate while rare items appreciate.
Chair Trading: The Underrated Market
Most players focus on knives, but Chairs are a sleeper market. A rare chair (like the Forest or Ice chair) is visible throughout the entire game, not just when you kill someone. Collectors often overpay for specific chairs to complete a "theme" (e.g., matching an Ice Chair with an Ice Knife). Holding rare chairs can yield high returns when you find the right buyer.
Animation Rarity
Animations are often overlooked. Win Dances and Sit Poses add personality to your character. Limited-time animations from holiday events are highly liquid assets because they are relatively cheap but always in demand by newer players wanting to customize their avatar. They make excellent "add" items to balance a trade.
Credit Hoarding vs. Case Opening
Should you open cases or trade for items? Mathematically, trading is safer. The odds of pulling a Divine are minuscule. Smart traders hoard their Credits to buy specific high-tier cases during events (when drop rates might be boosted or exclusive items are available) or trade the items they earn from gameplay rather than gambling their earnings away on standard cases.
Event Item Flipping
Breaking Point events (Halloween, Winter) introduce temporary cases. The items inside are exclusive. The moment an event ends, the supply of its items is capped. Buying event items cheaply during the last few days of an event (when the market is flooded) and selling them 3-6 months later is a guaranteed profit strategy.
