Daffodil

Daffodils are among the first flowers to bloom in spring, heralding the end of winter with their cheerful yellow and white trumpets. They are native to the meadows and woods of Europe and North Africa. All daffodils contain a toxic crystal called lycorine, making them resistant to most pests, including deer and squirrels.
